The Mission of WHJESP is to improve the emotional, social, and physical health of underserved youth by providing opportunities, exposure, and experiences for developing the next generation of community leaders.

Our Stakeholders

Through the years we have developed strong relationships with such community organizations such as the Erie County Bureau of Youth Services, Project Play of Western New York, Buffalo State University, Canisius University, Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation, United Way of Buffalo, Hopewell Baptist Church, WestSide Rowing Club, Highmark of Western New York, and the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. We’ve had active participation from local dignitaries like the Mayor of the City of Buffalo; Hon. Byron Brown and, Judges Hon. Jeannette Ogden & Hon. Craig Hanna,  NBA Official Rodney Mott, along with Coaches Dave Rappl (McKinley), Starling Bryant (East), Mike MacDonald (Daemon College), Fajri Ansari (Buffalo State College),  Phil Seymore (Fredonia College).
