This year, our organization was proud to announce we were hosting our first annual science fair, at the Burchfield Penney Art Center.   We accepted projects and experiments from students in grades 6-12 and awarded the top three entry’s with plaques in the name of the inspiring and influential scientists Charles Drew, Mae C. Jemison, and Ernest Everett Just. The success of this event was yet another reminder of why we continue to strive to support our youth.
