Saturday, March 21, 2026 — A day of innovation, creativity, and celebration
The Willie Hutch Jones Educational & Sports Program proudly hosted its 11th Annual STEAM Fair on Saturday, March 21, bringing together students, families, educators, and community leaders for a day of innovation, creativity, and celebration.
The event opened to the public at 11:00 AM, welcoming an enthusiastic crowd eager to explore an impressive showcase of student projects. From 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, students presented their work during the judging period, while parents participated in an engaging and informative workshop.
Midday activities featured a lively Lunch & Silent Disco from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM, offering students a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy the experience together.
The formal program presentation was led by Master of Ceremonies Willie Hutch Jones and Talisa King, who also delivered the official welcome. Attendees were further inspired by keynote speaker Keith B. Wiley, whose remarks encouraged students to continue pursuing excellence across science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

About the Fair
For over a decade, the WHJESP S.T.E.A.M. Fair has showcased student innovation across Western New York. Students present individual and group projects developed from concept to creation and evaluated by a panel of judges.
Students explore scientific principles, conduct experiments, and leverage technology to solve real-world problems.
From robotics to creative design, projects blend technical skill with artistic vision and hands-on craftsmanship.
Data analysis, problem solving, and mathematical modeling come together in projects that demonstrate critical thinking.
Prizes & Recognition
Outstanding projects are recognized with awards, prizes, and special recognition for students and educators alike.
Medals awarded to top individual and group projects in each category.
Gift cards and coveted first-place prizes awarded in every competition category.
Teachers who enter an entire class win a fun-filled pizza party and a Wegmans gift card.
